From May 16 to 20, A Thousand Sisters invites you to participate in Special Envoy Now! – A Virtual March on Washington asking President Obama to appoint a Special Envoy to Africa’s Great Lakes Region.
A Special Envoy is the first step toward creating a comprehensive and coordinated plan for Congo. Join us in asking our President to do what’s right for Congo. Join us and make your voice heard: Special Envoy Now. Take and upload 5 photos of yourself on Facebook’s SPECIAL ENVOY NOW page (click the LIKE icon first), then ask 5 of your family and friends to do the same and to keep passing it on.

Here’s what I’m hoping you’ll do this Monday- Friday, May 16-20:
1. Go to the “Special Envoy Now” Facebook page. Like it.
2. Click Photos.
3. Upload 5 photos of yourself holding signs demanding a Special Envoy Now. All at once, or one per day.
4. If you want to do more, get your friends to do the same. Can you personally ask 5? 10? 20?
