The Women's and Girls' Millennium Campaign Petition

World leaders will commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) at the United Nation's 54th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women United Nations gatherings March 1-12, 2010. They will use this time to review progress towards achieving gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls, and to assess remaining obstacles and new challenges—including those related to the MDGs. There are only five years left to realize the MDGs. Mobilizing and building global support NOW for investment in women and girls is critical. Let’s make this the Women's and Girls’ Millennium!
