i wish to congratulate all those who mad e it. i have no words to express myself. i did my best but i was not successful. despite the fact that i hail from a marginalised area, my voice was silenced. its a very sad moment for me and the women in northern kenya. their voices may never be hard. To God be the glory.

We are still listening!

Hi Leah,

I know that this is a difficult moment for the women who were not selected as correspondents, but this does not mean that your voice should be silenced. Voices of Our Future was a competition and there will be more competitions here on PulseWire. But VOF is just a part of PulseWire and just because the competition is over, does not mean that the community stops thriving.

You are a gifted writer, a warm spirit and a visionary woman of Kenya. PulseWire was Jensine's dream to connect visionary women around the world and to bring forward the voices of women from every corner. This community is still listening to your voice and still supports you, even after the VOF application period. Please continue to write in your journal because we are listening and we yearn to hear more of your voice, of your insight, of your experiences, of your vision and of your sisters in northern Kenya. Please don't go!

In friendship,

Still have a vioce

It's maybe not what you were going for, and is disappointing to try and not get chosen.
But you still tried the tasks, and are still here. You can give your voice for Kenyan woman through your own experiences. These may seem like shallow words, and maybe you are already cheered up, but I just want you to know that it was not a total loss. You found a part of yourself was willing to commit to try and get your vision to come true, and you should be proud of that. You took a step forward. I'm happy for you, even though you feel sad.
When you feel posting again...
