Delayed Rafiki matches

Dear Genice and Danielle

Thank you for your enquiry. Since we received your addresses I believe the Coordinators are doing all they can to find women in the projects who can write to you. i will confirm further and let you know. But i know that this past month we have been delayed because of logistics to get stamps for the women as the numbers of participants is growing. Kindly be ptient with us. Tomorrow thursday is a Rafiki Day in Godo and In kakamega I will speak to the leaders and know what is happening.

Otherwise there are those rafiki members whose lettters bounced back to the senders because of wrong addresses. others have not communicated whether they have received letters from rafiki in Kenya or not.

I have noted Peppar and Genice's equiries Kindly let me get back to you by friday after consultation with coordinators on the ground

thanks for being apart of this program

Great news!!

Dear mamaAfrica,

Of course, my Rafiki's letter showed up today in my mail box!! I am so very happy to part of this circle. (AND, I promise to be more patient :D.) I will tell you that I am thrilled at the bravery each woman shows taking this step. They are so very admirable & I am very grateful. Please now tell me, are there any supplies that the Rafiki groups could use? What items could we send to you to help in your work? That would make a lovely post.

Thank you again, mamaAfrica, for your kind reply.

Good News

I am happy for you Weejun and others who have received their letters. It has been great to come this far in our second month since we begun. the energy around all rafiki participants so very positive and am so glad that we made the initiative. The women need note books, pens, stamps and any fullscaps. we will neeed also any books and videos on how to do or simply inspirational books with strong female characters. Remember that from the rafiki letters we shal be making handbooks later in the year and these shal be published and sold to make the program allign with our project approach of learning by doing and earning. I will be sharing more of this later. please note also that you can make a donation through our paypal account
Wish you a wonderful Rafiki moment

Hello MamaAfrica

I appreciate all that you are doing. I look forward to when a Rafiki can be matched with me. Where can an offering be made to assist in the purchase of stamps.

Many blessings
