Current life for women in Eastern DRC

This time it's a catastrophe!
A phenomenon called "Credit" granted by several Coopecs has come to Bukavu.
With unemployment at a record high in the DRC, Coopecs are coming to associations saying they are there to help women in business. For example, when these women go through training before having money the Coopecs say they'll lend $200 to be repaid at $65 per month; when they start to buy merchandise the women find it impossible to repay the loan during the reimbursement period. It has become very serious; now women are being incarcerated in containers even if they are nursing a child. People need to work. We don't know who will save us. Thank you to our friends.

Merci ANNA
