Accessing information to help

Wow. I congratulate myself that am back on this page but what I saw when I was in prison in 2006 on trumped up charges…. It shows that I can do better than sit and whine about people I will never please. I have a greater assignment and purpose than just be sad.

I feel I have enough intellectual resources to think about initiatives that can help Women in conflict with the law; especially those imprisoned with their babies like this one in Maluku prison in Mbale.

What can such women do to get the world to listen to them?
How can they access pro-bono services? When the world closes in on you, is there a hope to communicate when your legs are bound and can you receive any inspirational messages?

I will write a concept on helping women who are behind bars.
I also wish to generate reading resources that inform them and also help them while the time away.

In this concept I will raise the profile of literacy, numeracy and communication skills. It is written and twice I have heard that Communication is the key to raising awareness, sharing knowledge and supporting a broader debate on women’s needs, concerns, proposals, indigenous knowledge and biodiversity, all of which are conducive to more effective policies and action programmes

I have received a lot of support today online, a daily devotional from my pastor and got some invitations to present abstracts for a few conferences on HIV/AIDs.

I can access the resources on line thanks to digital empowerment and affirmative action for women.
Hope I don’t lose focus on my initiative for women.
