Introducing myself and my journal: Tshepiso

About Me:
l am a young, vocal and ambitious woman in the making. l have political ambitions but for now l am pursuing a business degree. l feel its a better platform and it offers a more all round experience, essentially the best of both worlds in my view. Other than that l've been involved in women empowerment activities from a very early age, l've even organised a few myself but at school level. l've also been active in international women's day celebrations in my country. It goes without saying that much more still needs to be done and l believe this is the perfect platform for us to work together internationally. l look forward to meeting other headstrong, visionary, young women such as myself.

My Passions:
Women empowerment

My Challenges:
Sponsorship for events

My Vision for the Future:
Realising my political goal so that l can empower women in my country and expand my efforts as far as possible, to reach out to women around the world, as a whole.

My Areas of Expertise:
I am currently still a student but l have done event planning.

Welcome

We have many students in our online community and you might like to connect with them to share experiences. I have no doubt many of you will go on to become leaders in your communities one day. I look forward to hearing about your studies and also of your insights into the issues facing women in Botswana. You can share your ideas and dreams by writing in your journal, reading other member's journals and offering comments, and joining groups to participate in the discussions. Take a peek at our group directory (http://www.worldpulse.com/pulsewire/groups) where you may find a group with similar interests to your own. Or, you may consider starting your own group where you can build a powerful network bringing together PulseWire members.

You might also want to connect with member Sunita, who is a student active in promoting women's rights in her home country of Nepal. She can be found at:

Again, welcome and I know you'll find this to be a positive experience.
