Nous insistons sur la femme et la paix car la femme est toujours victimes de la non paix ; c’est pourquoi il faudrait que la femme s’implique dans la recherche de la paix !!! et cela nous l’avons bien montrés à travers une pièce théâtrale ;

Girl Ambassadors; Let Us Strive to Change Our Country

To better engage all of our communities in the search for peace and the fight against all forms of violence towards women; we girls ambassadors raided the Kabare Mumosho where we disseminated a message on 1325 et1820.
We have explained these resolutions as follows:
-The 1325 speaks of peace and security for women. We were able to show women why and validate this resolution. The search of peace should focus on three important elements:
.participation
.prevention
.protection
We insist on women and peace because women are always victims of non-peace; that is why women should be involved in the search for peace !!! and we have shown this well through a play;
- Resolution 1820 displays all forms of violence towards women.
We have given instructions to the people of Mumosho through an active association ABFEK (Action for the Welfare of Kivu Women and Children) led by Mr Amani.
It is a powerful organization that uplifts many of women and girls of Mumosho and its surroundings! What really impressed me is the place of merit it attaches to the life of young women! This association gives a chance for girls who were knocked up and who were rejected by their families and even maybe their friends.
The latter however supports the girl for 3 years! Once she has given birth she is still educated and reintegrated into the community.
For us it was a great discovery!
We should ensure that every community knows about this resolution but we are limited; women know their rights and duties that have long been hidden and denied. We need help and support to popularize this message!
We say glory to God who brought us; thank you mother Neema, through her we have already travelled the different corners of the province; thank you to all the girls ambassadors; thank you to everyone, far and near, who have contributed to this awareness, especially our host institution.
