sexual rights within marriage

Sexual rights within marriage is a highly debatable issue. Some partners (male and female) believe that their partner has no right to refuse to have sexual relations with them.However, sex like every other thing is best enjoyed within the context of emotional connection.The physical part is best expressed when the act is a part of a much deeper connection and this is sadly lacking in most marriages

one thing i have experienced
one thing i have experienced is that before marriage, women are told that they are not to deny their men sex. i heard this from a friend who just got married. she told me that, when her and her now husband used to go for marriege (i am not too sure how it is called) classes at the church, the pastor told her, infront of the husband that she should in no circumstance apart from being sick, deny her husband sex. i think there is a problem in religion and churches, when it come to marriages.

the big problem
Often, in giving advice, religious leaders are often compelled to promote their beliefs.However, as a Christian, i am shocked at the pastor's advice.Marriage is a commitment and sex is one of the expressions of that commitment but the act should not be viewed by either party as a right but as a physical expression of love.
