ON 15th YULY 2014, SOME GIRL AMBASSADORS FOR PEACE IN THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO (DRC) WENT ON A WORKING VISIT TO MUMOSHO IN THE KABARE TERRITORY.

Some girl ambassadors did a sensitisation tour in Mumosho in the Kabare territory, to conscientise the population on Resolutions 1325 and 1820 of the UN Security Council.
The participants arrived as from 12.00 noon and at 1.00 o'clock the Moderator, girl ambassador, Ariane Mosa Assumani, did an introduction. Following that, we introduced a sketch titled, "Women and Education". The sketch was interrupted with a talk given by two girl ambassadors, Masoka and Benedict. Later, we presented the sketch to the end.
The goal of the sketch was to show the importance of girl child education, the consequences of not educating her and the need to to stop discrimination between boys and girls in education.
At the end of the presentations, we did an evaluation to see how much the participants had assimilated. We were very satisfied of the responses we got from them.
Briefly speaking, all ended very well.
