My university grades are high and my Diploma grades are wonderful but so far I have won no scholarship! :( I applied to almost 15 scholarships and got 5 admission but none have worked out yet! wish me luck.

Thank you!

Dear Samina,

I am so happy to hear about your training and work as a midwife! I have been working the past 4+ years on a project to support obstetric fistula patients in western Ethiopia, and I know that these women would not be in the dire trouble that they are in if there were midwives like you available.

I wish you all the best with your dreams and next steps. It would be amazing to hear of you winning a Nobel Prize in the future and to remember reading about your dream here on World Pulse! : )

All best wishes from an American sister,
Kristie

Samina,

What an amazing life trajectory! Thank you so much for sharing. I was eager to read about the new opportunities you've found on the internet. I wonder if you would be willing to compose a piece about digital issues for our Women Weave the Web Campaign? I'd love to hear your thoughts about how technology affects your life and the lives of women around you. You can find out more information about the campaign here, http://worldpulse.com/about/blog/launching-the-digital-empowerment-phase.... It would be fabulous to have your voice join others as we think through issues around digital literacy in all its complexity.

By participating, you will be joining a global community of women speaking out on the importance of digital inclusion and empowerment for women. Your voice will be delivered to powerful decision makers such as government officials, leaders in the technology industry, and policy makers at international organizations. In addition to influencing global agendas, your submission to the campaign will open the door to incredible opportunities such as:

· Being selected to represent World Pulse at influential international forums. This is your chance to meet key players and make your voice count!

· Connecting and building relationships with grassroots women leaders around the world. Be part of a community of thousands of women speaking out on this issue!

· Exploring and sharing resources for your work on our Campaign Resources page. Find support for your initiatives from funding to volunteers and supporters!

· Getting your voice heard on a global scale! World Pulse will analyze and collate your stories to deliver recommendations to influencers and decision makers on a global scale.

· Getting visibility and support for your work. Your story could be featured on our site, included in an e-magazine, or even published by well-known media outlets!

And the 2014 Lynn Syms Prize will be awarded to an outstanding grassroots woman and visionary voice using digital tools to effect change and advance her community work. The prize will include a $20,000 monetary prize to be paid out over two years to support her community based work, a feature profile on WorldPulse.com, and an all-expense paid trip to speak her message in New York City. You can find more on the website, http://worldpulse.com/campaigns/www/www-women-weave-the-web-campaign-prizes

I hope you'll participate!

Wishing you peace,

Kelly

Never give up!

Dear Samina,
Thank you for sharing the path of Sedighzade NGO! It's really inspiring to feel closer to such constructive initiatives and be able to see and listen about the impact it's had in so many women's lives.
I read your line "you feel the miracle that wipes all the tiredness away" related to babies coming into this world and then I came back to it after watching the video. New lives are being awake by your effort...so I'm sure you'll soon feel the miracle and all your tiredness will vanish.
Stay strong!

Best of luck!

Dear Samina,

Thank you for sharing your story. You sound like you are very self-motivated and ambitious, and there is no doubt that opportunities will come your way. Don't give up on the scholarships. Applying to 15 different ones takes a lot of work because you have to tailor each one to the organization offering it, so please don't get discouraged. Given your achievements and desire to reach your goals, there will be something out there for you. It would be interesting to hear about the barriers you face where you are, and what it will take to become a leader and launch your NGO. How does digital access affect your goals? Hopefully you'll share more with the World Pulse community.

Wishing you all the best on your journey,

Rachel
