AUTONOMISATION NUMERIQUE

It is difficult to access the internet in the DRC; very few women have access, because it must be purchased. This tool is only used in towns according to social status, and women don’t understand the importance of the internet. It will take a long time for women and girls to overcome this ignorance. As for me, I was lucky enough to learn to use this new information and communication technology. I had learned that the internet facilitates relationships and enriches informational and communication skills all over the world. In this context, I am now a teacher at the Mama Shujaa Center in Bakuvu. I teach young women and girls how to use computer tools in order to use the information and communication, to support themselves, and to promote access to information and communication because so many women and girls inhabit rural areas.

Excellent submission.

Oh, wow, this is so neat. I wish I could write in French, so I could better communicate my response. That's so wonderful how you train other women to better utilize technology. We need more people like you.The internet is so, so important in facilitating social change and forging relationships among the citizens of this world.

Earlier, you mentioned how few people have access to the internet-- and how access is often limited by ignorance and determined by social status. What do you propose is the best way to combat this?

THANK YOU STRONGLY

Hi!
I'm so happy and I want us to be united to transform the world. As for your question, women must not neglect learning of computers and the Internet facilitates social exchange citizen in the world, hunt ignorance is not to be a light in the community.

Brigitte

Great Job

Dear Brigitte,

Am sensing that you are doing enjoying what you are doing, which is an ingredient that is required for one to do great things. By teaching these young girls and women in the community how to use Information Technologies, they in turn will be able to teach others about the various benefits and perhaps this will reduce the digital divide gap that is in the whole of Africa.

Continue teaching and blessing this group of people one day we shall all get there one day.

Keep well

Barbara

Thank you for the courage

Barbara thank you,
Girls and women are beneficial, they are able to write logs to the Internet without the intervention of the teacher and defend their skill by finding the opportunity to "ON LINE". Hoping to see us one day.
