Introducing myself and my journal: Journeys Across the World

About Me:
I am a high school teacher who is currently working with grassroots women to promote women's human rights and ensuring that women participate in peace building and reduction of gender based violence in communities in rural aareas in Uganda.

My Passions:
I like working for women whos rights are abused by communities.

My Challenges:
Little resources to help me do more for the poor rural women and difficulties in accessing internet in rural Uganda because of the prohibitive rates.

My Vision for the Future:
A Uganda with easily accessible communication network and whrer women are empowered to articulate issues that affect them.

My Areas of Expertise:
My area of expertise is participatory rural appraisal and training in Gender Based Violence, and Peace building where women are included to participate.
