Where are women's human rights being respected?

My sisters,

As I prayed for women all over the world this morning, my heart was drawn to the women of the Ukraine. It appears that Russia is ready to invade and take over the country at any moment and that this fear must be keeping life unsettled, with fear dominating thoughts and actions. Why does "man" have a need for power? Does Mr. Putim think the world citizens will show him more respect because he is a dictator? Why can't men act as Mr. Gandhi or others who had earned respect by showing respect toward others?

And who cooks dinner every night? Who feeds the crying children, who sense the fear circulating through their family, but don't know it's source? We know who don't we?

We need to support the women of Ukraine today, then support each other by kindness, prayer, sharing and love. All these things can be accomplished through World Pulse. Thank you Jensine for realizing how much we need to be holding hands, instead of holding rifles.

World Pulse and the Internet

Hi Alice, I've been a member of World Pulse since its inception and have been enriched by my many contacts with women around the world. And you know what I've found, everyone wants the same thing: peace, an improved culture wherever they live, food security and meaningful relationships.

I've spent many hours reading articles written by women who have dared to speak out, in places like Pakistan and the DR Congo. There are opportunities to serve in W.P. with campaigns (we recently finished one), to reading the stories published on the World Pulse website and commenting on them

Best wishes for your studies. The world is in great need of your passion.

Dear William-
It is people such as yourself that will help to change the world. Your compassion for women, and your spirit of kindness are tools against the fear and violence. My heart is glad that you stand with us.

Let us Hope together.

humble thanks

Dear Aimee, how could my soul not hurt when so many women and girls are being abused, abducted and killed? Things are beyond unfair for most of the women of the world, like for Olutosin in Nigeria and the young women in India. I thank you for educating your two sons about girls and women and the respect for which they deserve.

It early and I'm working in my Bible trying to learn from the mistakes of others and how I will be blessed if I do what God wants of me. I realize how richly blessed I am already, with friends iike you, Olutosin, Jensine, my wife and daughters. May you and your family be also blessed this day. My morning prayers will include you.
