Sponsoring the Runners

dsc00979.JPGThe Sole Sistas is a group of the young at heart who feel they want to make a change in the society. The group is eager to get more members who are equally passionate and young at heart to make change in their community. We are also challenging those who can not run to join us in very simple ways:
I. To drop an encouraging word to those who paticipate in the runs and touch less fortunate girls.
2. To sponsor the runners and help them meet their target. Shiku and I runs for the community around us, Jennifer runs for the entire Pulse wire community. Want to join and touch someone in your Community? Lets hear your Great ideas.
Our run is next month and we have managed to get some sponsorships from the Corporates totalling to $2200 thank God. Some of this will meet the group travelling allowances and accomodation to Cape Town for the Two Ocean Marathon. We are still hopeful that we will get more sponsors to meet our target( Building the house for Muthoni family - see Shikus post) and building the Dining Hall for the Ophanage in the Rural.
To all great hearted people lets come together and touch someone heart. I trust World pulse members will join us on this Noble idea.
To sponsor kindly get intouch with Jennifer the group Administrator. The Marathon is 56km. One can sponsor a minimum of a km as little as $40.

Sole sistas has two new members.waoh! Iam so thrilled! feel back up,and strenghened.I do anticipate curious sistas to join this noble course group. Lets have fun ,keep fit as we help the needy in our society.As we grow,we will organize one big international sole sistas run.properbly from where we will have more member. Welcome all.

Cheers to our New members!! I couldnt wait for such a great moment to have our two members at a go? Wao! I am so so exicted. I remember writing to Jennifer today and i was like, guys are Not joining Sole Sistas. Evening comes a good surprise. Two members more. Now we are five. I trust by the time we go for the Two Oceans Marathon in Cape Town,we will be more than 100 members. WATCH THIS SPACE.

How are you feeling? I know Shiku caught a fever... are you feeling better? I am sending lots of healing energy.
I am coming up for air after a hectic, nonstop action March and April. I am ready to turn my attention to my Sole Sistas. I KNOW you are ready!

Wao, At least you had a moment for us!
Wao, really nice to hear from you. Chiku participated in the Two Ocean Marathon and i hope all is well. I think the healing energy will be well received since she told me she really had it rough. I know when you come back the Sole Sistas will thrive like fire! God is great. For now we give you the space.
