Learning as I go

Yesterday I sat with Jennifer and Scott so impressed with their open attitudes, taking the Voices of Our Future as one big learning opportunity- willing to dive in and get wet!

As I've started the process a few things have been helpful. I received 4 applicants to review. By reading all 4 week 1 journal entries prior to filling out the evaluation forms, I got a range of what to expect. I felt I needed more though. So, I read 5 or 6 other week 1 journal entries to get a broader feel of the various voices. After reading a sampling of 10 journal entries, I felt like I could dive in. I like getting a sense of the various voices before filling out the evaluations. Seeing the range and depth is helpful.

Any hints/tips that others have? I want to be a great listener giving these women encouragement and helpful feedback in their process.

Great to be a part!
