Rafiki Joins two Parts of the world, with one cord love

Have you been wondering just how The Rafiki Club is is able to reach out to the rural women and involve them in global issues through the letter writing? Here is the process of how it all goes

I Started the The Rafiki club to aid in us achieving our goal to involve women worldwide to assist in the education and empowerment of women which is the mandate of Project Africa.

Step one. I recruit names of Rafiki from the west through The Rafiki Club on worldpulse wire and request for addresses of members to be sent to Project Africa via our email info@projectforafrica.org
Step two: I send names and address to Rafiki Coordinators in Kenya by email or by sms
Step Three: The coordinators go the villages and hold Rafiki session where Rafiki from the west are paired with those from the South
Step four: Within the Rafiki sessions letters are written and named of pairs communicated back to me through sms and email
Step Five: Letters are posted
Step six : Rafiki in the west are informed of their rafiki in Kenya through postings on worldpulse wire
Step seven Rafiki in the west receive their letters and reply

All this may take at least one month. But the combination of the strength of traditional media of writing letters and The speed of new media through mobile phones and internet makes it possible for information to go round a vicious circle that involves even the most marginalised women in rural Africa makes the process worth all the time and resources.

Pardon My Writing error

The word vicious circle in the last paragraph of the above entry was meant to be virtuous meaning a circle of favourable results

Kindly pardon me for that error

I'm paired!

I've been like a small child awaiting Christmas Eve, wondering if Santa will indeed slip down that chimney.
And yes, my day is here. I'm paired with my Rafiki pen pal awaiting newly written words from across the globe. Now this will be worth waiting for! Thanks MamaAfrica for the energy you are extending to all Rafiki's members. We love it.
