Thank you for joining World Pulse and welcome to you! Now you're part of a passionate community of women and men from more than 190 countries around the world who come together here to listen to each other's stories, support and encourage one another, and help find solutions to some of the problems we face. It's great to have you here and to have your service as a Community Listener. Listening is such incredibly important work and I'm grateful that you have taken this responsibility on. I hope that you are inspired by your work with World Pulse.
I see that you are passionate about poetry and writing. I am very inspired by poetry as well, and especially enjoy poems by Hafiz and Rumi. Who are your favorite poets? Have you lived in Indonesia all your life? Did you learn English there? (You don't need to answer my questions, of course...I'm just curious! :)
I'd like to share a link with you to the "Getting Started" guide, which will help you with networking here at World Pulse:
Please always feel free to add to your journal and comment on others' posts as well. We welcome your voice and contribution!
"I wish I could show you when you are lonely or in darkness the astonishing light of your own being."
Thank you very much for your warm greet. By the way, I also like Rumi.
I've been living in Indonesia for my whole life, but wishing to go out somewhere for fun. Thanks again for the link, I'll learnt it.
I'm glad you like Rumi too. I find his poetry sustains my faith in all that is good, and fills me with courage. I'm glad to have you here and look forward to learning more about you. Where would you like to travel to, if you could go anywhere?
Hey...I feel the same way bout Rumi.
Where to travel? umm...I think Italy is interesting, also Turkiye, or...give a suggestion.
It's hard to say where I would go. I like sticking close to home these days with my two young sons to raise, but someday I would like to go to the African continent--maybe Kenya or Uganda?
It is great that you are already listening to the amazing voices of the change makers who make up the World Pulse community. I have no doubt that you will enjoy reading the very inspiring submissions from our other community members, and learn how your voice will also be transformed for impact. While I assure you that all the exploring, sharing, learning and networking will be worth the while, I also look forward to hearing your unique voice in our community.
Together we can talk the talk, walk the walk, talk the walk and walk the talk!
Thank you very much for your warm greet. Lets talk and walk together.
Send you a bunch of love from Indonesia.
I look forward to learning more about you and your work through your writings. Please feel free to also connect with other members of our community. There's so much for you here, EXPLORE and ENJOY!
