grandma!

I wonder what her silence would say if she spoke;

In the process of being a submissive wife, a mother to her 12 children,
she lost who she was,
I watch as the sparkle in her eyes slowly fades away
as time passes by
always lost in thought,
in sight but away in mind;
did she have dreams, ambitions,aspirations,
before being transformed from a taita-taveta woman to a dictatorial kikuyu's wife?
who was she then,
who is she now?

I wonder what her silence would say if she spoke.

thank you!

i believe it would be a sad world because women play a major role in the society.

I thank God that He has allowed us to speak up and now through the medium such as internet people are able to connect and find solutions to issues arising.

Blessings,
Claudia.

thank you!

Words have always been said to be powerful and if we chose them carefully when we speak, they would impact our lives and those of others.

God bless.
Claudia.
