My Areas of Expertise:
International Relations/Gender in World Politics/Security and War
Welcome to World Pulse, I hope to hear more from you and your experiences as far as gender in world politics is concerned. I am from Belgium and living in Portland, OR, and I have a similar background as you, and I am currently doing a master in global leadership, and would like to concentrate on women issues as well.
Thanks for your message. What courses are you taking? I could send you a syllabus from my Gender in IR course if you'd like. I would need to have your email address, as I'm not sure how to send it through this site. I teach the course once a year at different universities, and it changes every time depending on the students. It's a great course to teach as world events always affect the content. This semester we are talking a lot about women as UN peacekeepers and the problem of sexual assualt and rape in the U.S. military, since those issues are much in the news.
I've never been to Portland, or Belgium. I hope you are enjoying your Master's Program.
