VOF WEEK 1 (A promising path for change)

Life has never been the same for me since joining pulse wire and web 2.0. I have always wanted to get a broader picture of a global woman and to my amazement instead i found a promised path for women, which directs, shapes a woman and makes her realize her dignity and discover her self.

The world of web 2.0 has not only opened my eyes but has brought the world of women which was so drifted apart closer than never before.on this site women share information so freely and everyone benefit from the same information without restrictions. with every problem there is a solid solution which brings with it change in a woman's intellectuality and helps her to make the right decision in life which contribute to her development and the environment surrounding her. this same solution helps her to feel part of the global and diminish fear from her, because she realize she is not alone but is surrounded by her fellow women backing her.

Web 2.0 has helped me to learn alot of other issues concerning women around the world i never thought of, and has helped me to note that am not alone in the fight for women change. it has also enabled me to help in solving other people(women's) problem in my home town. Am now able to express my views openly and fight for what is right concerning myself and my fellow woman!
web 2.0 brings about a lot of solution to global women empowerment movement in the following way

Knowledge (information): as the say is power. i believe every woman who is on this site has been empowered through sharing of information. a lot of information on issues affecting women has been displaced by a lot of women(influential) on this site. this has enabled women to know their rights and a lot have discovered who they are and how their potential can contribute to a better world. hence a lot of women are moving in a new and better direction.
Opportunities have been created for lots of women. on this site there are referral services offered, those who know of organisation which grant help and assistance gladly give out such information.
Psycho-social, spiritual support is also offered on web 2.0. people with common problems are able to address and help each other.
Just like i have explained above, web2.0 has greatly empowered me through information, has broaden my understanding of women's rights, problems faced by women together with the solutions for women.
surly this is a promising path for any woman!

Hello Dando

Hello Dando,
I always enjoy your writing and seeing the world from your perspective. I realize you are probably not writing in your native tongue so this must be difficult, which makes your writing style and words all the more powerful and amazing to me.
I would look into your use of English grammar. For instance, the beginning of each sentence and all I's referring to yourself should be capitalized, like this. "I" not "i."
Other than that, I always enjoy reading your posts and I wish you well on this journey with Voices of the Future.
Warm regards

Hello Dando
Congratulations for being a part of this website and writing your truth with such passion. I admire all of you that speak and write more than one language. I have attempted at learning Italian although have not mastered it yet, otherwise I only speak and write one language, English. I do communicate the universal language of love though :)
I look forward to reading more of your stories and sharing mine with you Dando.
In love and light

I love the honest and clear

I love the honest and clear approach you have taken to this article. My article for VOF on the other hand is much more different... and now after reading yours I feel mine does not do justice to the task. Modesty aside, you truly seem to have captured a better understanding of how Web 2.0 can assist you and women. I look forward to reading more of your articles.

Dearest Dando,

What joy to be one of your Listeners this week, made all the more sweet since our very own Brigitte was able to help you find access to the Internet. How is that going!?

I really enjoyed your article. I liked that you started with web 2.0's impact on your life. It drew me in immediately. And then, I liked when you clearly explained the solutions that web 2.0 bring to women.

I have only piece of constructive feedback... you mention "it has also enabled me to help in solving other people(women's) problem in my home town." Have any of your problems been solved by web 2.0? I would have loved to hear just a little bit more of your story.

Great job. Good luck on week 2!

I can feel your enthusiasm!

You are a beautifully descriptive writer. I am very impressed. You've articulately described the power of Web 2.0 and I can see you are embracing it!

I particularly enjoyed statement that "every women who is on this site has been empowered through the sharing of information" and your description of women coming together who had drifted apart. I hope PulseWire helps you continue to learn and gives you access to information that empowers and helps your community.
