I like your very vivid description of women who are gathering "around tables, around fires, gathering upon the earth." And who are now gathered online, crossing borders, cultures and timezones to work together on a grassroots level. You described yourself as before feeling like a lone wolf. I too have felt this way. We are not always blessed with being surrounded in people who are so eager and ready to change the world - so it is encouraging to find such a community of women through web 2.0 especially on PulseWire. Thank you for sharing!
Aleila – thank you for your well thought-out posting. Your writing is very clear and intelligent. You have captured the essence of what Web 2.0 is capable of providing for all women around the world – a chance to speak, and a chance to be heard. I really love hearing about your experience of this – seeing that you are not alone in your thoughts and feelings, not a lone wolf anymore. Please continue to engage me on this personal level, letting me get to know who you are as you write. I want to hear more!
Thank-you Patricia for your wonderful and supportive reply! I appreciate your feedback very much and your kind and thoughtful words. Thank-you as well for all that you are doing in this world to help women and children. In reading your page, I appreciate your strength and the profound journey you are also on-I am inspired by your vision!
