Introducing myself and my journal

About Me:
I work at the Oregon Center for Children and Youth with Special Health Needs. Before this I worked for seven years as an adoption counselor, helping women assess options and sometimes plan open adoptions in an atmosphere of dignity and respect. I am married and have a young son. My interest in the wisdom of women has blossomed over the years of my life, and grows stronger with each passing day.

I have also worked with youth with special needs and special health needs, so know first-hand the rewards of working with them. Please take a moment to post a photo of yourself or an image that best represents you. You might also want to browse through all of our community groups (http://www.worldpulse.com/pulsewire/groups) as it's a great way to build powerful networks, find members with similar interests to your own, share ideas or actions. We have groups for mothers, for people working with the disabled, for members to talk about their adoption experiences to groups based around books, poetry, gardening and film.
