Welcome!

Hi Momopol,

Welcome to PulseWire! It is exciting to have a new member from Cambodia here in the community. The best way to communicate and share your voice is to write in your journal, read others members journals and offer comments, and to join groups and participate in the discussions. You might also consider posting to ResourceExchange, a global bulletin board designed to offer access to needed resources as well as the ability to provide resources to those in need, explore and contribute to SharingSolutions, a library of working models and blueprints, and collaborate in a group discussion forum.

I look forward to hearing your voice!

Warm regards,
Jade

Welcome

It is a joy to welcome you to our online community. Your arrival is well-timed as we have had a lot of activity on PulseWire concerning Cambodia, especially since members have just returned from our first World Pulse international tour to your country. The tour was hosted by Loung Ung, whom I am sure you are familiar with. Each participant came away with such love for the people they met and the women whose courageous efforts are transforming lives. You can read about their journey, experiences and insights on the group journal, found at:
http://www.worldpulsemagazine.com/pulsewire/groups/5028/journal

Unlike the polar bear in your photo (very cute), you will not be alone and isolated here but will find a sea of rising voices speaking out and taking stands. Connections are being made, crossing oceans, continents, and cultural barriers, as the issues that affect women and children are discussed, debated and reflected upon. Take a moment to browse through our group directory (http://www.worldpulse.com/pulsewire/groups) where you may find a group with similar interests to your own. Or, you may consider starting your own group centered around health, where you can build a powerful network bringing together PulseWire members with similar visions who want to share ideas or actions.

Again welcome and I look forward to reading more from you.
Janice

Hi there

Hi, I am Cameroonian and have never met anyone from Cambodia. I hope we can be friends so I can learn more about your country and your culture. You can ask me anything you want to know about Cameroon but one thing I can tell you is we know soccer so well, but personally I can't play. Hope to hear from you soon.
