Family environment is the natural environment where the child is given the basic education that will build his personality by copying his parent’s habits.
In fact his future behavior will be a reflection of the education he received at home and if this education was wrong the child will be spoiled and eventually his future will be compromised.

School environment: at School, the child receives that knowledge that will facilitate his integration in the society. It is important to note that in our current Congolese schools, moral education has been neglected and teachers need to be aware that they are the principal agent in the child education as they are responsible of his intellectual and moral education.

Social environment; the entire society and especially the initiation schools in rural areas have the responsibility to give the child good guidelines through examples, experiences and advice.

Difficulties:
Most parents do not have enough education skills and as a result they give bad examples to their children. Their behavior as well is not one of the best as a result they act with impulsivity and brutality because they lack instruction skills.

In such cases the teacher will have to use psychological technique to contact the child’s parents and to be accepted by them with the aim to make them understand how important this collaboration is and what it represents for the child progress. Sometimes the teacher will have to use indirect questions or request other close parents of the child to intervene.

Thoughtful post

Ziruka,

This is a really thoughtful post!

It makes me curious about your own experiences in school and with education. Was your experience positive or negative? And why? What is it like for you being a girl in school?
