Ukraine: Life in between two fires
Last week broke Ukraine into two opposite camps. Presidential refusal to sign an agreement with Europe and not completely clear prospects for economic and political relations with Russia divided the country into two warring camps which boundary often passes in the middle of friendship and kinship.
Most of the discussions in social nets finish with accusations and even with insults, despite this all happens between friends, and with the end of the discussion friendship finishes as well.
So what is going on these days in Ukraine? Protesters demand impeachment of the President. They still are in the main Kyiv square Maidan which now is called Euromaidan. These people say, it is not about Europe anymore, is about to save Ukraine and our future.
From the other side the ruling party organized an alternative protest, and yesterday people who support Union with Russia went out to the streets as well.
Mass media almost don’t give objective information and most of them support one or other side.
So what is happening in Ukraine in real? In real people are tired and exhausted. They want changes. It’s obvious. And until these people will not get any hope, they will not leave Maidan.
Praying for the peaceful future of my country…
