Not to underestimate women
Not to belittle women
Your wise grateful mother
Is a woman
Who gave you the soul, the life
Because of your mom
You are born with what you have today
Your strength and your power

Not to belittle cheerful young women
Not to wish harm upon
Your beloved life partners
If you are a man
Watch out your own behavior
What you have done for good
Not to announce to the world
‘cause I am crystal clear

If no water nor fish
If no sky nor earth
If no mother nor father
If no me nor you
Thus we are the SAME
Equality is the humanity
When I am being so peaceful
Not to take it for granted
When I am being compassionate
Not to assume I did not exist
When I am being kind
Not to think I do not have courage

If one does not have wisdom of mind
What to do with that mere chiseled body
If one does not have heart of compassion
What to do with being a hero

The nature of water and rain is the ONE
The entity of wind and breeze is the ONE
The feature of cloud and fog is the ONE
The inmost core of you and me is the SAME
You and me are the SAME
Born to be equal
Born to be happy
Is destined

Thank you!

Dear Delphine,
I am so happy to hear that you liked it too. I used to listen to it a lot about three years ago. Since then, i did not listen util in recent days, suddenly i found it on Youtube recently, i felt much more powerful and meaningful than ever and prompted me to translate the lyric immediately.
The singer is so simple and her voice is full of passion. A great song indeed.

Cheers!!

Hey Denkar

Here is the Tibetan version of this lyric.
Learn it and let's sing together lo :)

Love,
Jampa
