Introducing myself and my journal: In Search of America: Inshallah

About Me:

This is Danish Renzu, Los Angeles based Muslim filmmaker and my producer André Ferreira. I was deeply influenced with the work your organization has been doing to eradicate injustice done to women and I really appreciate all your efforts and work on the same.

We are making a short film titled, In Search of America, Inshallah. The movie details are at

Our movie teaser is here:

Cast & Crew :

The movie portrays immigrant struggles and a Pakistani woman's soul searching journey in America.

I feel that media has improved as the technology has progressed and media sharing has become easier for all people. A lot of different stories have surfaced and shown the world some naked and bare truth. However main stream media is still biased towards many issues. Therefore my ultimate goal is to target the minorities and misunderstandings towards many aspects of the world today. Like the female role in films and stereotyping of some cultural or ethnic backgrounds. My film In Search Of America focuses on the lives of two women, from different races, religions, social stature and countries. It points out a lot of similarities between the diverse group of characters and clarifies some taboos/misconception. I am very eager to deliver the unforgettable feel of my script.

I am in need of support. We are currently raising funds to make this movie possible. The movie will be screened in major film festivals in Los Angeles .Any guidance/support/partnership will be appreciated.

Looking forward to hear more on this & possible collaboration.

Looking forward to get your support.
