Haiyan's landfall in Tacloban

I'm sharing a footage of Tacloban City before, during and after Haiyan hit it. The coverage was done by some American storm chasers at Hotel Alejandro. My son and I visited that hotel last month too.

I'm sharing this to give WP members an idea how destructive a storm with maximum winds of 300 kilometers per hour plus a storm surge can be. It can happen it their countries too.

So powerful

Nature is so powerful. This first-hand footage makes the intense experiences so much more clear. Thank you for sharing this, and your earlier piece.

GRATEFUL!

No matter how corrupt many of Filipino government officials and personnel are in good times and in crisis (the nerve of them!), the Philippines was still saved by our Almighty God for the sake of the innocents. Only the middle part of the country was devastated - as another wake up call to transform into God-fearing people. On behalf of my people, I am grateful to all who cared and shared. For those who could not give but still cared, thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

MARAMING SALAMAT SA INYONG LAHAT! (Thank you very much to all of you!)
