Philippines: Libudsuroy, Malayapinas

To all concerned- All we know is that Libudsuroy and Malayapinas are physically ok. We have no further information at this time, but will keep all posted as soon as we hear. The best way to obtain information is via news agencies and trusted social media sites. Any specific information pertaining to our sisters in the Philippines will be shared on the Community page here at WP. If any of you specifically hear from them, please leave a comment below.

Many want to know what they can do to help, and that is a difficult and complex issue. You may choose to help by simply saying a prayer, and hoping with us for their recovery.

Here is one resource to research charities:
Here are our partner organizations helping with the recovery efforts:

Philippines Relief

Thanks for sharing! I have supported the Global Fund for Women for over 10 years and will make a donation there. The images of destruction are so overwhelming! Definitely sending my prayers and thoughts of healing and hope for the people of the Philippines!

Precious people

My partner just returned from a fund raiser for the Philippines and commented on what warm, genuine people she met at the event. NPR today talked about how resilient the Filipinos are but it is so sad that they have had to weather so many natural disasters!
Take care!
