Procrastination

So I am back after such a long absence due to academic torture. Well I am joking, make that due to a hectic school schedule and wanted to talk about procrastination.

It doesn't discriminate whether you work in Agriculture or health or environment etcetera. I do and so do many people. But did you realise that it makes us be less than the best we can be?

Putting off important things to do un important things will not help our cause. To be effective change agents it is important to carefully plan and execute our tasks with ample time to review that they are the best they can be. That way we are and can be the best we can be.

Don't wait until you can act now is the perfect time to act.

Regards to all.

I love your article

I love the way you wrote about procrastination - grabbing us in with your humor and then giving us a good reminder and lesson. I was going to write you yesterday, but I procrastinated. ;) Seriously, I love when people take the time to write us about skills or traits we either need to acquire or change. I, for one, am a better person for it. Thank you, Catherine.

Ubuntu (I am who I am because of who we are together),

P.S> I have a non-profit organization in Livingstone Zambia I AM ONE IN A MILLION focused on helping street orphans. And I know MANY women whose English name is Catherine. Must be a reason for that.

Thank you

Hi Wendy,

When I was writing that little piece. I was sharing my experience and am so glad that you found it helpful. It gives m encouragement to share more of my experiences.

My mother likes to joke that I need to live up to my name. I am named after her and she is an awesome woman.

But all in all, in order for us to move forward we need to share what has worked for us and what hasn't so that others can learn from that.

I am in Zambia, some time in December. I hope we will meet. It is wonderful what you are doing for those children, Keep it up and God bless your work.

Hi Catherine

Hi Catherine,

Enjoyed your message. I am ALWAYS in Livingstone Zambia from early December through the middle of January. Would you believe this is the ONE year I will not be because I will be in Maldives and India visiting several World Pulse journalists from Maldives, Chennai, Mumbai and Balgore.

BUT since you are sometimes there PLEASE keep me informed when you know your next trip will be. We are destined to meet.

Ubuntu,

Wendy

P.S. Your mother sounds like a strong and wonderful lady. You are lucky to have her as a role model. I know you will make her proud.
