International day of rural women

Rural women suffer a lot mainly because here in the Democratic Republic of the Congo they do not have a place in their homes or a word before their husbands as to what they grow in the fields. She has a good harvest in the field but must do all of the harvesting while her husband goes into the neighborhood to wander and drink alcohol. The women are often the victims of war and often in the villages their rights are violated. Rural women have the right to participate in all activities that take place in their country but many women in the villages are not educated and were neglected by their parents, particularly the father. Life is very hard in the villages and education costs a lot of money so it is often the boys that are educated and only a minority of the girls who go to school in the village. We must unite and put our ideas together to help rural women because they suffer so much. Without the contribution of women they will disappear from the world entirely. Long live rural women and long live our territory of Walungu and our country the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
