I just checked out your site and it is awesome! My partner of almost 22 years and I live in Portland, OR and hope that our state will legalize gay marriage next year! I hope that you got to the Michigan Womyn's Music Festival this year! I attended once, in 1982, and loved it even though I was still married to a man at the time! 8000 to 10,000 women standing together arm in arm singing "Waterfall" with Cris Williamson was one of the definite high points!

My partner and I attended the West Coast Women's Music Festival in Yosemite about 10 years ago and that was great fun but pretty tame compared to Michigan!

I love that you set your stories in different countries and that you have combined your passions for travelling and writing!

Hello Portland

I am a lesbian married to Trish and we are currently house-sitting in Europe. I blog on my site and try to make it a welcoming site for our persecuted sisters. Trish and I are retired teachers. My stories will be subtitled "Michigan Bound" as my heroines have one thing in common...travelling from different countries and backgrounds to the Michigan Women's Festival. I am getting ready to e-publish them and they are on my site (several chapters) to give readers a feel of them. Thanks for your supportive comments.

I hate to admit it, but I have not been to Michigan, but Trish has gone to one.
We have been together fifteen years.

Peace to you too

Looking forward to being friends.

House-sitting in Europe sounds wonderful and I think you need to experience Michigan first-hand sometime!

Take care!
