Introducing myself and my journal: Udaan

About Me:
free as a bird that's how I see myself and that's how I want my life to be. To be my own master held curtailed and subdued by none.

The juncture at which I am right now is a bitter sweet one, I'm trying to reacquaint myself self with the old me which sort of faded with time.

My Passions:

My Areas of Expertise:
gender issues

Welcome, Charu!

Dear Charu,

Hello! Welcome to the World Pulse online community! I am glad you have joined--and so glad for you that you want to be free! I wish you a happy and fulfilling journey finding the real you again, free of "shoulds" and "ought to's" and full of moments of you expressing who you truly are--and plenty of laughter! I see you are passionate about travelling--are you able to take a trip someplace you've always wanted to go?

I think you'll enjoy being a part of this thriving and inspirational network of women (and men) around the world. You can meet many who share your passions and interests, as well as those who struggle with similar challenges as yourself. I encourage you to network with them and share your story and ideas/feelings. Here's a good link to get you started in networking and contributing to your journal:

Enjoy yourself here and please feel at home, because you surely are!

With love,

"I wish I could show you when you are lonely or in darkness the astonishing light of your own being."

Welcome, sister dear

Isn't it so real? For so much time our paths seem to wind around directions not really our own. And then, after some time, we rediscover what we could have been "be" (forgive my approximate English).

I wish this rediscovery will turn in an opportunity, as it was for me. (Indeed when it happened to me I realized that the period "outside my true self" had a deep meaning, as a travel far away: it was necessary for a "rediscovery" which in its very essence was the discovery of something astonishingly new - although "old").

Maybe, is rediscovery a travel so many of us have in common, in slightly different forms?
