Peace and Security in Rural Areas

We all know that every September 21 is the International Day of Peace all over the world, no exceptions, and a country is at peace when there are no problems in that country, and every human being needs peace.

I know that peace is respecting the rights of others, peace is good government, peace is not war, peace is not killing, peace is security and not insecurity, peace is wealth not poverty.

But in my country, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, this is not the case. There are many problems, especially in our rural areas, which have led to loss of human lives, massive displacements of massive populations, destruction of educational and health infrastructures, famines, rapes, etc……. My sisters, mothers, with all these difficulties we can’t move forward, we can’t develop.

In brief: In our rural areas, these wrongdoers continue to make our moms and daughters suffer, to rape them.

Total insecurity (murder of the civilian population)
It’s best, I shout at the top of my lungs, true peace in my country, the DRC. We also want to celebrate this day, September 21 each year, as it should be. Not celebrate with grief. To be honest, we don’t have peace. We want true peace.

Oh God of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, help us emerge from this misery.
