THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO IS A VICTIM OF A WAR OF CONTRADICTION

The war that we are living through in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) leads us to believe that the entire world does not understand what is happening. Some people refer to the aggression we have seen from Rwanda, others speak of internal rebellions, or wars to reclaim power or advance military ranking. In this tragedy, human rights violations are multiplying and there are more and more armed groups.
Armed UN troops are present in the DRC. But even with this presence, we are unable to end this war that is ruining the lives of men and women and our environment. Why does the world seem to be at peace when faced with all the crimes that are occurring here? It is because we are unable to identify the real cause of the war. In our opinion, the main cause of the wars that the population of the DRC are victims of are linked to multiple ‘riches’ that render this country a vast market for arms and minerals. This market benefits all those involved, whether they are nationals or expatriots, production in the arms factories is in full swing with the wars in Congo. What is necessary is a ban on the sale of illicit arms in Congo, the closing of the arms factories in the so called developed countries that are pretending to rescue us.
