WAR AGGRAVATES US! WE WANT PEACE!

The DRC is on the verge of catastrophe. This catastrophe shouldn't be averted through ideological means--they always hinder direct relationships and prevent action. This catastrophe is war.

According to an Arabic saying: “There is no peace without war.” We've lived through so much warfare in the DRC. We've lost family members and spent years without going to school. War is not the way to secure peace; it only weakens it and leaves both sides resentful.

Peace is a form, a part of war and war is a form, a part of peace. Today's struggle is to achieve tomorrow's reconciliation.

Today, the world must find the courage and the will to bring about peace and recognize that war and violence are neither acceptable solutions nor are they the only possible ones.

We women of the DRC want justice, liberty, solidarity, tolerance, respect, and equality. In short, we want peace and nothing but peace.

The war is the worst what can

The war is the worst what can happen in between people. The worst it will never stop, because behind every war there is a huge money.
In some eastern countries there is a tradition, when a woman throws a white shawl between fighters the war must stop. This is the rule. I wish so much this rule work in so many places and save millions of lives of innocent people.
Warm regards,
Iryna
