ENVIRONNEMENT

Sujet 3

Environment

First we must define the environment as everything that surrounds us. It is also the space in which we live, and other may say that the environment is also where man lives and carries out his life.

The environment in which we live is not well protected because free space has recently been subjected to deforestation. This is caused by the population living in the cities by the river who transform forests into brush. Our families, even, are another cause of deforestation, as we use the forests’ resources due to our lack of electric energy. We are not only speaking of wood, but also our lakes, which are polluted by people who want to increase their catches of fish. Lake Kivu is the most devastated.

To regulate all of these problems, we think that without the aid of the state we will not be able to accomplish anything. That is to say, the state must take responsibility to educate the population about a healthy environment.

The government must instate such laws so that the population is informed about respect for and protection of the environment. We call upon NGOs that are involved in the protection of the environment and that they invest great precision and care in its welfare, as it is being destroyed too quickly. And we, as women, must do everything in order to protect our environment.

Commentaire
