Diamond and copper mining are both jewels of Congolese industry. In fact, the DRC is the world’s foremost producer of raw diamond. The creation of new businesses facilitates the use of the Congo’s properties and the businesses’ products.

The Congo’s position in the diamond industry is said to be hidden from itself, because the Congolese don’t know about it. Evidence shows that tourists know more about the Congo’s environment each time they visit. This beauty remains ignored by certain Congolese because of a lack of sufficient financial means to visit these parts of the country. It is also exploited by those in power, who enrich themselves instead of developing the country through this beauty that is the envy so many foreigners.
