The internet is an opening onto the outside world, a place where one can exchange and share experiences, a place of science and information; but also a line of communication and a world of discovery!
The internet is the new technology offered to the world of rich people and not poor!
The internet allows better communication and makes personal research easier
Internet access has given me a chance to discover the thoughts and experiences of other people across the world
Thanks to the internet, all our voices are heard all over the world!
Thanks to the internet, we’ve become editors! Thanks to this connection, our voices and dreams will become reality. “May all women come together in life; the integration of women and put an end to all the violence done to them.”
From when I was born until my 12th year of school, I never had the chance to touch a computer. We were taught how to work one without seeing or touching any. I was lucky enough to attend university, but the chances to use a computer were minimal, and you had to pay $150 to use one. I was at university for 3 years, but it remained like that the whole time. To do my research, I had to be accompanied by another person, and had to find a connection outside the university which would cost $1.50 for half an hour. It was a great burden on my very poor family.
Our association, FED, has been lucky enough to collaborate with the founder of the Mama Shujaa, Madame Neema, who has helped us all with our education. I’ve seen a new world, and risen from ignorance! I’ve learned all the possibilities of a computer and how to access the internet. Specifically, how to explore this thriving community World Pulse, where women’s voices are heard throughout the world and find comfort in all the other women of the world!
Today, my voice is shared between 30 friends from different countries and parts of the world through my journal!
Like what you can find under the “fille ambassadrice” tag, “we raise our voices in the battle against all forms of violence that women of the world in general, and the DRC in particular, have to live with.”
I’m very happy for this opportunity that you have brought to the world of media, Mama Shujaa!
We envision that such initiative and support will spread through all of the Republic!
Thank you, our association
Thank you, the founders and teachers of Mama Shujaa!
Thank you, World Pulse and its workers!
Thank you, everyone who supports the Mama Shujaa!
