Media contest on Gender Sensitivity open
The competition is open to journalists, advertising professionals and media organizations in India.
The Laadli Media and Advertising Awards are the only media awards in India for promoting gender sensitivity. Instituted by Population First, the awards highlight, acknowledge and celebrate commendable efforts to analyze programs, policies, social trends and behavior from a gender perspective.
Entries should have been published, displayed, broadcast or telecast between Jan. 1, 2012, and June 30, 2013. All entries (except from freelancers and those applying under the web category) must include a endorsement from the editor/direct supervisor or commissioning organization.
The deadline is Sept. 15.
