Conflicts

Conflicts are a natural part of life. They can be an opportunity to discuss matters, which can lead to improvements. For this to happen, it is useful to view conflict as a problem that needs to be resolved, rather than as the trial of a guilty person. Furthermore, it is best to define the problem precisely before you try to provide solutions. When a family is at war with one another, and all the relationships have broken down, this conflict will spread through all the family ties, like an epidemic.

In social institutions or businesses, in public or in private, in my own experience I have seen, observed, how each person, with their own interests at heart, ignores the other person, even their private space, bringing moral and material prejudice into the argument.

A conflict of interests can break a person’s motivation, destroy their life and their very existence, even driving them to suicide.

Freedom of the press in a non-democratic country is another area of conflict. Freedom of information is a check on corruption. Being able to write can cause someone to be taken hostage or tortured.

In a conflict, if the law is not upheld, the one who is not listened to becomes the victim.

I have seen that conflict hides behind relationships, love, expression, trust, acceptance, exchange, analysis, research and findings.

It may sound a bit vague when you look into it and analyse it, but conflict can be found everywhere. A mind that is not at ease, a person who has not completed their work by themself, someone who does not have an aim or an ideal; even making an effort is a conflict.

Conflict is a phenomenon that can lead us into total isolation, and make us lose our zest for living.

It can affect us on a physical level, in the form of illness.
