Violence in the Home

Today I'd like to talk to you about girls who come to the city to work. They are mistreated and become illiterate. They become domestic servants and do housework and other kinds of work they shouldn't have to do. They are violated by their masters when their mistresses aren't around, they are poorly fed and poorly clothed, and they don't know their rights. They are denied their right to a happy home life. Every day their employers beat them. These girls aren't respected by the families that take them in.

Anna
