POEME: LA PAIX SUR LA TERRE

Quand j´attend au soleil couchant
Lorsque je regarde le matin blanc
Quand je me ballade à travers champs

Mais pourquoi me taire?
Y a qu´à trouver l´unisson

Plus de joie, récite avec moi :
Il faut faire la paix sur Terre
D´un seul cœur on chante en cœur :
Ma prière, la paix sur Terre.

Poem: Peace on Earth

When I wait for the setting sun
When I feel the pale morning light
When I walk through the fields
It's with a child's heart
And when this beauty fills me with awe
There are some who laugh at me
But I forgive them, I say hello
And I wish them well

Peace on Earth is my prayer
Less violence, less indifference
More "I love you" and less hate
No more heartache
Fewer borders, less misery
Less selfishness, fewer unkind words
Less language and fewer symbols
Fewer promises, more tenderness

What can I do with my poem?
But why keep silent?
There's no reason to make war
This is better than a gun
We need only unite our voices

More joy, say it with me, say it loud:
We must make peace on Earth
With one heart we sing from the heart:
My prayer, peace on Earth
