Introducing myself and my journal: Supporting Vision

About Me:
I am an African-American woman originally from Massachusetts. I am married with a grown step-daughter and a lovely spanish water dog. I live in Maryland. I am the Executive Director of a non-profit foundation called Safe Blood International and we are working to make sure that the blood supply is safe and adequate for all people, no matter where they live. I am also an Executive Leadership Coach, a graduate of the Georgetown University Leadership Coaching Graduate Program and International Coaching Federation certified. I have lived in Morocco and Tanzania and enjoy travel for pleasure and work. I have witnessed first-hand the importance of empowering women in order to change families, villages, countries and the world.

My Passions:
coaching, gardening, family

My Challenges:
exercising, patience, sticking with mundane tasks

My Vision for the Future:
A world where all can reach their full potential no matter who they are or where they were born

How important is to contribute in health matters. In Mexico, people do not donate blood and it is an enormous problem. I also like the way you care and acknoledge women's empowerment.
