Atelier de réflection sur la perspective de promotion de la femme dans la province du Sud-kivu qui a eu lieu au CAP-NGUBA .

Chères et chers amis bonjour,
Je viens vous parlé de l'atelier organisé le 27/06/2013 au Centre d' Accueil Protestant qui a été organisé par le Comité National Femme et Développement en sigle CONAFED représenté par Mme IVONNE DEMBO Vice/Présidente de ce réseau en RD CONGO.

ROLE DU RESEAU CONAFED : - Promouvoir le leader féminin
- Vulgariser le genre transversal dans tous les domaines pour que le genre puisse
prendre une place importante dans les institutions.
Notre reflection du jour porter sur le contex socio-politique de la femme au Sud-Kivu, subdivisé en 5 grands points que voici :

1. Faits saillants :
- Faible promotion du genre
- Faible implication des femmes dans des instances politiques
- Faible représentativité des femmes aux instances des prises de décision
- Sous-estimation de la femme elle même
- Les femmes en majorités jouent le rôle du second plan dans les parties politiques : acclamer, danser....
2. Causes :
- L’analphabétisme de la femme
- Faible application des lois spécifiques des femmes dans l'élaboration des lois.
- La pauvreté des femmes
- Coutumes rétrogrades à l'égard de la femme
- Impunités des violeurs en dépit de l' existante de la lois
3. Risques/Menaces :
a. Femmes victimes des viols et violences à tous les niveaux.
b. Isolement et rejet de la femme
c. Prostitution des femmes et des filles
d. Femmes exposées au VIH/SIDA et aux IST
e. Difficultés d'atteindre 30 pour-cent des femmes dans l'espace de prise des décisions.
f. Absence des mesures d'accompagnements des lois
4. Solutions :
- Faire le plaidoyer sur la participation de la femme et de ses intérêts.
- Renforcer les capacités de la femme dans le leadership.
- Promouvoir une réinsertion économique plus approprier.
- Renforcer les capacités de la femme dans la bonne gouvernance.
- Mettre en place une politique de protection sociale adéquate.
- Appuyer et accompagner les femmes engagées dans la politique.
- Sensibiliser, informer et former la femme sur la connaissance de ses droits.
- Promouvoir le genre à tous les niveaux.

I’ve come to tell you about the workshop organized on 06/27/2013 at the Protestant Welcome Center which was organized by the National Committee on Women and Development (CONAFED) represented by Ms. Dembo IVONNE Vice / President of this network in the Democratic Republic of Congo .

ROLE OF THE CONAFED NETWORK:
- Promote female leadership
- Disseminate cross gender in all areas so that gender can
take an important place in institutions.
Our reflection of the day focusing on the socio-political context of women in South Kivu is divided into five main points as follows:

1 . Main Points:
- Low promotion of gender
- Low participation of women in political bodies
- Low representation of women in decision-making bodies
- Underestimating of women themselves
- The majority of women play a background in political parties : cheering , dancing ....
2 . Causes:
- Illiteracy of women
- Weak enforcement of specific laws for women in the development of legislation .
- The poverty of women
- Downgrading customs towards women
- Impunity for rapists despite existing laws
3 . Risks / Threats:
a. Women victims of rape and violence at all levels.
b . Isolation and rejection of women
c . Prostitution of women and girls
d. Women exposed to HIV / AIDS and STIs
e . Difficulties to reach 30 percent of women in the decision-making space .
f . No supporting measures laws
4 . Solutions :
- Advocate on behalf of the participation of women and their interests.
- Strengthen the capacity of women in leadership.
- Promote a more appropriate economic reintegration.
- Strengthen the capacity of women in good governance.
- Establish a policy of adequate social protection.
- Support and assist women involved in politics.
- Make aware, inform and instruct women on the knowledge of their rights.
- Promote gender at all levels.
