Merci.

Other expenses related to the event of a marriage in Bukavu (in the case of the town of Ibanda)

We have had information concerning the costs of the parties that are associated with a marriage. The costs are between 100 guests for $500; 800 guests for $1000; 1500 guests for $2000 and for more than 2000 guests much more. According to our cases, it appears that 10.7% of our respondents spend between $100 and $500; those who spend between $800 and $1000 represent 12.3% and 6.1% spend between $1500 and $2000. Only around 1.5% of our respondents go so far as to spend more than $2000 for the expenses of the festival of the marriage. This happens the most in the young married couples, in their precarious life, they allow ostentatious spending with all that comes along with the negative consequences to their family budget. Depending on what can influence the youth who have already created a budget for the events, please give feedback.

Thank you
