The Young Girls of Bukavu

In the Democratic Republic of Congo, specifically in South Kivu, girls from poor families as young as 15 years old are victims of unwanted pregnancies due to the lack of education and lack of means provided by their parents. Because these girls do not have occupations, they struggle to find food and clothing. To aid these girls, we invite everyone to assist us in helping create training centers for these women. We are hoping to start programs in cutting and sewing, cooking, computers, and many other activities.

This story was written for World Pulse’s Girls Transform the World Digital Action Campaign.

World Pulse believes that women's stories, recommendations, and collective rising leadership can—and will—bring girls greater access to education which will transform their lives, their families, and communities. The Girls Transform Campaign elicits insightful content from young women on the ground, strengthens their confidence as women, and ensures that influencers and powerful institutions hear their stories.

with regard to my personal history, come from a Christian family of seven children 5 boys and 2 girls. I graduated chaumeur Nutrition and Dietetics; alarming thing and discourages other girls or even parents at home is to graduate with great difficulty and missed work, why many of our parents do not enroll girls saying their studies end in the kitchen.
I have wished that I aumoins a coaching center in literacy and other occupation to get this kind of girls as ignorant live is to die early.
be united because unity is force.experant favorably to solve this problem together online

Thank you and the next
