Welcome, Irene!

Dear Irene,

Welcome to World Pulse! I am so happy you have joined. This is a thriving and supportive community of women from more than 190 countries around the world who join here to offer each other friendship, support, and solutions to problems. I enjoyed reading your user profile and getting a glimpse of who you are--obviously someone of gratitude (I loved how you described yourself as "blessed" with a child. You are so right--a child is a blessing!!), who is moved and motivated to make the world a better place.

Your passion for bringing happiness to children is so beautiful and inspiring. Isn't that what life is all about? I hope that you describe for us the work that you are doing with the organization you created, Sister in Action. Does it have to do with helping children? You sure sound like a busy woman, what with also owning a restaurant and being in graduate school! Where do you find the time? :)

I encourage you to take a look at the Getting Started Guide to learn how to navigate the World Pulse website and how to start networking with other women here:

Please feel free to contribute to your journal, reach out to others who share your interests and passions and enjoy yourself as part of our community. I hope to hear more from you soon!

With love,

"I wish I could show you when you are lonely or in darkness the astonishing light of your own being."
