REASONS THAT MOTIVATED, OR NOT, FIANCES AND YOUNG MARRIED COUPLES TO ORGANIZE WEDDING RECEPTIONS

According to our research on the ground we have found these factors motivating young fiancés and married couples to organize, or not, sumptuous wedding receptions:
1. To bring honor to oneself and one's family;
2. Because one only gets married once in life;
3. Because one has the means to organize the wedding reception ;
4. To imitate others;
5. Lack of means;
6. Not wanting to organize the reception;

35.3% of our investigations, all categories combined, affirm that people get married for their own honor and that of their family; for 18.4% of those surveyed, marriage is an event that only happens once in life; 12.3% of those surveyed consider that they entered into marriage because they had sufficient means to do so; 3% underscore that it is because marriage has become a habit in the city of Bukavu; 24.6% of those surveyed say they did not organize a reception for their wedding because they did not have enough financial means. 6 .1% of those surveyed claim they did not organize a reception because they did not want to.

So, according to you, what is the most necessary factor for young fiancés who do not have a lot of means to organize a reception for their wedding? Your reactions as well as suggestions are welcome.

Merci
